Many older people will say that the youths of today have it easy. Is this really so? Well, what do the youths have to say about that?In Jamaica as in the rest of the world, there is always an emphasis on youth achievement, youth resources, education and exposure, and of course youth excellence. There is a valid reason for that because without our youths there would be no future. Therefore, it is imperative that we continue to nurture and provide numerous opportunities for them on an ongoing basis.

They have also established exchange programs abroad, and have provided financial assistance for students in tertiary institutions. NYS also puts emphasis on volunteerism and has been trying to influence youths in all manner of positive behaviours including attitude, discipline, and respect for authority. The Human Education and Resource Training (HEART/ NTA) takes skills training to another level and opens many doors for youths in areas such as construction, agriculture and vocational training. Jamaicasinting is also aware that there are young entrepreneurs who strongly believe in owning their own businesses and employing others. These committed individuals continue to struggle while searching. These youths are innovative and are always thinking "outside of the box," to use a common phrase. They are branching out in areas previously unexplored and are willing to face the competition. We understand the struggles that you face and want to help.
